Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PsychGate at psychgate.drbcares.org, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

What PsychGate provides

PsychGate supports online intake, response organization, care coordination, provider-fit review, and scheduling handoffs for behavioral health services.

What PsychGate does not provide

PsychGate does not provide emergency services, crisis monitoring, diagnosis, treatment, or direct clinical care by itself.

Emergency and crisis situations

If you are in immediate danger, may harm yourself or someone else, or need urgent medical or psychiatric care, call 911, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.

User responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information during intake.
  • Use your own contact information and keep account details secure.
  • Do not use PsychGate for unlawful, abusive, or misleading activity.
  • Seek immediate help outside PsychGate if the situation is urgent.

Clinical relationship

Completing an intake does not by itself create a provider-patient relationship. Clinical services begin only when a provider or care organization formally accepts you into care.

Insurance, billing, and scheduling

Completing intake is separate from payment, insurance verification, and appointment confirmation. Service costs, coverage, and scheduling details may depend on provider availability and payer requirements.

Technology in a support role

Technology may help organize intake responses and prepare care-team context. Licensed clinicians remain responsible for clinical judgment, diagnosis, treatment decisions, and follow-up.

Updates to these terms

These terms may be updated as PsychGate evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
